EcoGenesis
A Deployable Museum Envisioning Climate Change Awareness and Action
About the Project
EcoGenesis is an architectural thesis proposing a deployable museum dedicated to confronting the challenges of climate change. Through innovative architectural interventions, the museum aims to provide visitors with immersive experiences that stimulate critical thinking and transformative insights.
The project asks: what if the museum itself could embody the principles it advocates for? A structure that moves, adapts, and leaves no trace; modeling the kind of low-impact, regenerative relationship with the environment that the climate demands of all of us.
Built on Sustainability
The museum's design prioritizes sustainability and minimal environmental impact across every dimension; from structural system to material selection to energy use.
The deployable nature of the structure means it can be transported to communities without permanent cultural infrastructure, bringing climate education directly to the people who need it most.
Inside the Museum
Programming focuses on educating visitors about the causes, consequences, mitigation strategies, and adaptation techniques related to climate change; while also inspiring and promoting sustainable lifestyles. The immersive experience is designed to move visitors from awareness to agency.
