About the Project
This project documents individuals living in economically disadvantaged neighbourhoods of Ahmedabad. Gentrification has compressed these communities into areas with poor infrastructure, and they experience disproportionate climate change impacts due to their geographical location.
The initiative, spearheaded by environmental NGO Paaryavaran Mitra, aimed to influence local government policy while highlighting the activist contributions of these communities; giving visibility to the people most affected by decisions made far from their doorsteps.
